It summarizes the most relevant information regarding the characterization and evolution of the sector, referenced to 31 December 2020, including the quality assessment of the service provided to users, benchmarking the performance of managing entities, legal and contractual monitoring and the economic and financial framework of the sector.

It summarizes the most relevant information on water and waste services in 2020, referenced to 31 December. In this volume, the characterization and evolution of the sector, its main players and main figures in terms of resources that compose it, the presentation of the main results of the quality of the service provided to the user, is also made available, the comparative evaluation ( benchmarking ) of the performance management entities, the economic and financial analysis of the services, the analysis of the relationship between the management entities and the users and the presentation of the main results regarding the legal and contractual monitoring of the management entities.
